.
I ate not once, but twice, outside of my intermittent fasting window. The first meal was rather hefty, a package of gizzards and a small can of mushrooms. But I wanted to taste the ribs. I didn't have a lot of it, but I had... half a pound? Or so. Very good. I was worried blood sugar would be very high, again, today.
As well, I didn't, for the cooking time, get to bed until nearly four? Three? Can't remember. I have a solid headache for it. And other aches, pains.
Ah, but while blood sugar did go up this morning, it wasn't as bad as I had feared. It is 174 fasting. I'll... work on that.
I didn't wake until noon thirty. Ugh. Fed Sassy first thing. Closed windows, it has already gotten up to 72 or 73 out there! :p Oh, I know, it is usually in the high 70s to low 80s at this time of year and day. Crazy. It was 70/72 upstairs, 70/71 down here. It is heavily overcast, could rain if not sure that will happen. It's almost more likely to rain on an initially cloudless day than on one that starts overcast? Or, more, you... just never can be sure.
I am playing the game on a harder difficulty. I am led to believe certain items can be used to get through, that don't count on all playthroughs, for all titles. Will find out shortly. I have learned how to skip many things, and the items supposedly allowed make short work of what I can't skip. I should be able to finish the game in... well under nine hours, more like... four to six hours. And... it's fun to clobber monsters.
I have all weapons upgraded, still working on all charms but I have twenty five of the thirty, plus the most important ones. And I have enough in game "cash" to handle anything. Unfortunately, at some point, money is absolutely useless. I'll... go get started with that.
What day is it, Tuesday? I can't focus, remember, even when I look. Life is very odd when in my condition. These last months have been confusing, these last weeks have been... very difficult. Tired beyond tired, and something is just wrong.
I'll tell you, though? When you lose weight? You change. I am diminishing. I am fading. It is a humbling thing, if I believe in a good way. I am becoming less of a man in my own eye, if possibly more of a man in reality. Man, in reality, is a small thing, with a few good sides and a lot of bad ones. Losing weight makes this, somehow, much more apparent. I'm good with it, mind you. But it is strange, a strange feeling.
