No, and I don't feel the need.  I am not, unlike many, dependent upon what others think therefore I do not need to debate you to the point where you agree with me.  I will state my reasons for or against something, listen to your thoughts, and pretty much go on my way.  I might, if something seems interesting or preposterous, try to learn more about what you said.  But you won't change my mind in a hurry, probably not at all, unless you have the smoking gun, fingerprints, dna, and some witnesses that are credible.

As for organics?  Like I said, do it at home.  And, sure, can for the winter, which assumes a great deal, including a large enough garden, the knowledge of how to garden in the first place, enough time to work that garden, the time and equipment needed for serious canning projects to go along with the time to properly harvest, and if organic the time and knowledge regarding saving seed plus the specialized manner of gardening knowledge base for "organics" as well.  That isn't possible for most people in most places.  I doubt if 30% of Americans have that kind of wherewithal.  I am certainly left out of that equation.

Still, I was far better than my lady friend at debating.  Her tantrums had less to do with me or my beliefs, though, I think, than her need to feel free to express rage safely (with me she was, I sort of got a kick out of it... privately while she was in it mind you).  Like I said, I just closed my door (with her on the other side) and got to gaming.  She also was doing a man's job, and as a feminist but somehow trying to be honest too, realized she shouldn't have had that job.  It absolutely clobbered her on top of that, physically.  She went to a more female oriented job but found it unappealing, within her store, so returned to work she shouldn't have been doing.  She tried going into a managerial position but realized that leading without being able to do the work was even more hollow.  She simply couldn't face that she was, well, female.  Even when she saw a 62 year old man, much older than her at the time, doing the work as a second job, beating her like she was standing still at the work, she just wouldn't surrender  Stuck.  Well, and she rarely slept enough.  All those things caused baby to cry, finding whatever she could to point at as the problem.  She was my only gal-pal who was ever like that so I am pretty sure it wasn't me.

Now, about organics...  While these guys are pretty good, I still think they are more like me when they debate, if from a more secular angle... which makes it more appropriate for a more secular world.  Penn and Teller seem to hit the nail on the head for those who don't really like government or stupidity and who do not know God.

Penn Jillette reminds me quite a bit of how I used to be.  He is a lot louder, a lot more in your face, but just his general size, hair length, and notions, at one time.  Well, and if you think he can be funny, he is funnier, if we even share a bit of the same type of humor. Until I came to the Church and then cut my hair we might have been confused with one another by distant sight.  He's not really combat oriented though, which... explains much of the difference.

No, no, if you 'do' organics, fine.  Just don't try to get me to do them.  If you believe, fine.  Just understand I don't.  If you want to ignore the truth about "all organic for all", that is quite your choice.  Perhaps you feel your wealth will inoculate you from the famine such would bring.  All good.  If you feel that way, don't bring it to me over and over.  Propaganda doesn't work on me.  Maybe I was it's toy once too often, too deeply, or whatever the case truly is.  But I choose which propaganda to support, and I don't even swallow that line, hook, and sinker at all anymore, not at all.

Like much of what is happening in the Middle-East?  While I don't connect it with U.S. politicians or parties, I do suspect that it is the work of pro-US Middle Eastern kingdoms.  It worked to get Carter out, and that probably is the thing here.  Zero is bad for US allies, most of which are despots in that region of the world.  While I do not support despots, as a general rule, until muslims are groomed and ready for freedom, until their religion is merely a backdrop, they cannot be allowed to vote.  Despotism for terroristic peoples is as good as it gets, for them, for their neighbors, for the world at large.  Play games as you like, there is no room for error in a nuclear age.  So, while I hope this conflagration helps sink Zero's chances at a second election, I don't for a minute think it is about a film, the homosexuality of an ambassador, or any of a number of suggested problems.  I do think, however, that Zero knew what was about to happen but thought he could depend on "his friends" there to keep it from becoming egg on his face.  He hasn't learned politics, poor boy.  He never will.  Not even despots love socialists, communists, or neo-muslims.  They only love power, theirs.

Hmm, well, that is my take.  Believe as you wish, deny here or elsewhere as you please.  I'll reply, consider, research, but I am probably going to stick to my guns.
