Good morning.

.
.
After waking for dinner I was not able to sleep until... well... sometime.  Actually I have no idea when I finally went to bed.  Or when I woke!  Was it 15:00, 16:00, later?  It wasn't earlier.  I still feel like my innards have been scrambled, set on fire, then had the fire put out with a mallet.  My midsection feels like it has been squished from both sides by a unhappy giant.  I've had worse though, this is just a notion of those things.  On the good side, I didn't miss the Christmas thing, that is next week.  No, I really do want to go.  Yes, I am still humbug about Christmas songs, but only when they are everywhere and always, wall to wall as they say.  I enjoy hearing Christmas music (not to be confused with muzac), and even have been known, when I have the coin, of paying to go hear it.  But local is better as a general rule.  While one need not be a devotee of Confucius, one only needs to have read his material a bit to understand the man was as wise as the Godless can be.  He had no one to teach him, no access to Christ, other than what God has imbued in us.  And he used what he had to the utmost.  In any case, Confucius had things to say about such, and I do... take those thoughts to heart.

What to do?  Oh, I did change the cat litter, get the trash out including emptying the little bins scattered about my warren, take the recycling out, then get it all to the curb.  I had forgotten until just as I was ready to sleep.  I didn't WANT to mess with it, at that point.  But as I have said, what I want and what I do, if I have it to me to decide, are often two different things.  Such is being an adult... mostly.  God must see us as the oddest creatures.  That we don't want to do even what is good for us, even in the short term, let alone what is right, at times, must make Him astonied.  Never mind, I got it done.

I still don't know what to do.  I am just set the dishes I used for supper and it's preparation to a soak.  It is already getting very dark, so working on the drywall?  It may happen, just taking things a bit more slowly.  I think I have another load of laundry in the dryer to be dealt with, and the rest of the laundry to put up or hang, too.  But I need to wake up!  I just can't seem to wake.  I did turn the heat up, and that helps.  The snow was gone off the driveway and sidewalks, front and back, so that job can be checked off  (thank you, Father).  Hmm, I'm thinking on things.  I feel like a nap already, but that is not going to happen.  I'll... get to something, soon, I am sure.

Good day.
