Seventy-two killed resisting gun confiscation in Boston
Boston – National Guard units seeking to confiscate a cache of recently banned assault weapons were ambushed on April 19 by elements of a para-military extremist faction. Military and law enforcement sources estimate that 72 were killed and more than 200 injured before government forces were compelled to withdraw.
Well, yeah. But... I've told you I can be slow to get around to things. Still, something to consider.

ReplyDeleteI have to wonder how many men in history would have fought for their rights, freedom, if they had only had the right equipment. Oddly, it never has to be a majority, or even really all that large of a minority.
Evil is cowardly, and cheap.
There have been many who have fought inadequately armed but of superior strength because of the moral justification. Molan labe.
ReplyDeleteTrue. That has happened. But I would rather not have to bet on empty-handed good intentions, brave spirits, and faith. The price is... very high.
