Ugh!

.
.
Neither can I sleep or wake well, and I am actually still sore this "morning".  I have pushed a little too hard recently.  It didn't seem to take much.  Then again, I was down for a relatively long period, and worked to level and more, four days last week.  My muscles burn, my bones ache, I can't ever really wake well, and there isn't much energy.  Still, I am fine with that.  It just means it will take a bit longer of a rest this time and I have a better idea of what my limits are.  I will continue to focus on what to do next, when the opportunity presents itself.  And, yes, I'll probably be pushing it even then.  Still... no spark, no fire.  I promise, there isn't even a clinking of metal on flint.  I'm not sure that is even flint!

I did just a bit of reading last night.  More of a general review.  Most of what I have non-specifically read is somewhat old hat, somehow.  That doesn't mean I can just do it, either.  With a map, both here and in the field, I will have to review concepts to ensure some things.  And I'll need practice, including mistakes, to get that circle squared.  It isn't the plain details, but the fine details, as well as what isn't able to be put into words well or easily, that will take some time and practice.  All good.  But at least it doesn't feel like totally foreign territory to my mind.  Which... has it's own drawbacks.  If you think you have it, it is easy to overlook some fine print, detail, or nuance.

The book that I purchased... is from the other book I purchased.  *le sigh*  It is, if the preface or first chapter, is correct, a line for line abridgement on the topic from the other book.  Oh, I shouldn't fuss too much though.  This makes taking the orienteering part of the big book into the field a little less problematic.  I will still have the main version at home, and can more freely feel that making notes, if needed, in the little book, less of a problem.  I, generally, don't like writing notes in the margins, of any book.  But in the field, taking a notebook is added weight and complexity.  Neither seem great, but when you have walked ten or twenty miles, with a pack, then had to tend food and water, and set up camp, just a touch more is enough to make something not happen.  K.I.S.S.  Seriously.

I'll try to read a bit more today, rather than sitting looking at the computer and listening to music.  Focus is a little shoddy.  I will simply try.  The hope is, that if I come across ideas that seem useful, things to try out there, that it will increase the impetus and override the want of physics... a body at rest tends to stay at rest.  The mind, while a wonderful thing with which to lay waste, is also a marvelous tool at changing physics states.

Later.
