Tough, rough, call it what you will.

.
.
Yesterday was hard.  I really was down for that count.  Sore, stiff, and rough, even as I wake this morning.  But the stiffness is more of a setting up than a breaking down, or so I tell myself.  Pain in enough areas, and if small enough not to be a terror, solidifies the body.  And my body is hardening.  I don't know how long I can take pushing.  I will continue to push, however, until I can't, as I am able anyway.  Not today though.  I'll be lucky to pull off a few minor stupid human pet tricks, but that is what I am aiming for.  Just a few things today, to try to prove life concept.  :p

I told my friend tomorrow, or the next day, I would try to be back into town.  He was thinking shopping is what he would prefer to do.  Well, whatever.  For me it will be another day out.  Hopefully an easier one.  The only thing I am really planning, otherwise, is a hike to the dam later this week sometime.  I'm simply not up to doing a whole lot more, though you never know.

Cool days, but sunny.  I actually really am enjoying spring this year.  I think this is the second spring I have enjoyed in my adult life.  A few years ago I enjoyed spring, if even then I wasn't as active.  This is even better.  I can see the strong potential for pushing my spring right on through into the summer.  But I do know, at some point, I am going to hit a stoppage.

I don't know if you remember the first time you rode a bike?  When you finally learned how to stay on it, but before you learned how to stop and dismount well?  Yeah, well, I'm sort of at that point in life.  I get a little uneasy about it.  It could be just a worry, as my health seems to have improved.  But history suggests otherwise.  At some point, in any case, I will have to dismount and rest.  How well that goes, most likely, will suggest other things.  I think, though, in my current condition, I can handle a fall well.  We'll see.  Oh, I don't mean a physical fall.  That I can handle without issue.  You would think, at my age, infirmity, and decades of inactivity, that I would be physically fragile.  And I am, just as fragile as your average five year old bear.

Well, on to waking then maybe a few chores.  I think I can, I think I can, I...
