I am making progress, in general. I have the parts to build two or three compartments for composting, I have several sorts of soils for various projects, I either have or am about to receive starters for asparagus, jerusalem artichoke, rhubarb, and horseradish, including larger containers for some of them. I now have a few starter house plants and herb seeds, plus smaller indoor planters for those. As well I think I will be in a place where purchasing a lawn tractor this summer might be in order for next month.
I have dug a good plot and several places for raspberry shoots. I am cleaning the cave, bit by blood bit it seems... but solidly moving ahead. Medicine is well back on track for over a month, and nearing two if that first month was shaky. In a week I will be going back up to as high of a level of medication I will take. A worm farm has been managed, and the process of keeping them fed has been developed and is working.
As well, other projects are under consideration, such as a flower bed up front, cleaning and replacing roof gutters, with an eventual water storage system in mind, square foot raised plots for possibly later this year, or next, and who knows what else. Really, not bad. It is just that, right now, I am hitting a wall. I am still doing bits and pieces. Which is fine. I just... that jump out of the gates... I'm not maintaining that speed.
I hope to finish up the dishes, and clean the stove and oven, plus some or all of the counters in the kitchen. If I have more, then clearing the table top and sorting the storage areas so as to keep the kitchen table clear and clean this time. Then to sweep and mop the floors and under the sink, as well as begin cleaning the main bedroom. Somewhere in there will be a cut-off for today, and probably tomorrow, and so on. This is just the work process for the near future. How much on any day is in strong doubt.
Well, but that isn't all. I also wish to plant at least a couple of the horseradish roots, and the 'artichokes'. The rhubarb have to wait until they arrive. As well, I want to cut out more of the sod around where the raspberries will go. As well as clear anything in either area that has started growing, put down cardboard, and then plastic over even that to keep weeks and anything else out as well. Yeah... lots of work, in and out. All good though. I... got it right the other day... Not just this, my world is on fire. So is yours. Head on swivel, on top of time to get busy.
I just hate that I am having to force my way through, work to even begin to work, struggle... just to get started and keep going. It was so easy there for a bit. Whatever. I'll keep at it as I may. Good day.
