.
Almost no blood spit up, if so a very very light shade of pink. Which... is good. If there, and it might have been, it was almost not visible. But I think I saw some. Quite a lot of material out, but it came out well. I thought I got most of it out. Gurgling, though, with a rattling cough through the night. It was good to wake, spit that out, and sit up. Rough. Better.
But, for it, I could barely breath while dressing and getting down. Just... I couldn't feed Sassy, or do much else than check the outside temp and open windows while turning on fans.
It was rather warm upstairs! It was 77 in the main, 78 near me. Downstairs, closed up, was 71/73 (main/up front). And outside was about 55? I checked just now and it is to 53, so cooling a bit more. I need to get the house as cool as possible, and then close up before it gets too hot out there. And, I may put an ac in upstairs. Leaving it open most of the day, then turning the ac on for a few hours before bedtime. Just... to get it a bit cooler. It seems I am... acclimated, to a degree. I was sleeping like a babe. Other than the lungs filling a bit.
I did get to the store earlier, but just doing that almost planted me. Seriously, it about killed me to get out. But, I had an order I had to pick up. I did pick up. It was reading 89 to 91 out there. I didn't, initially, believe. It wasn't the heat that got to me, it was just the activity. I also got some cash, and put some gas in the tank. When I returned home, and checked the temp as was bringing grcoeries in? Yes, it was 88 out there, in the shade. So... the numbers were right! I was extremely surprised. Why wasn't it bothering me? It felt more like the mid 70s, to me. Strange.
Anyway, up and figuring some things out with the game. Doing research. Some games are very complex. Do this, then that, then that, or miss a whole line of things. Now, I won't be able to get everything, but I will certainly get more than most casual players. I have the time, and interest. I am a completionist, when possible. And, to that end, I study.
With this game? There is some recall. Having played prior versions actually helps, this time. It's not an exact duplicate. And I have forgotten theings. Plus, you have to level up your 'toon, weapons, and obtain better items. But, the general idea is there. You will still die. Over, and over, and over, and over again. But, as a being who has done that in real life? It's... not quite the hit to my ego as it is to many. *grins* Get up, go to it, die again, then shake it off and do it all again. That... is... my life. Long before it was a game. Amen.
Well... I'll see if I can get to the bathroom. Then feed Sass. Check her litter box first. I changed her water yesterday, so that is good. I try to do that every other, or third day, depending on how much she has sipped. If she hasn't touched it, three days. But, after that, I assume it needs changed anyway. I don't expect her to drink, but I want fresh water for her if she does get thirsty. I love my little furry lass, and do what I may to please her, keep her healthy and happy, and such.
She is only twelve, perhaps fourteen, but I... sense her time is closer. Closer than it should be. I... take time to let her know she is dear, she is loved. Itchy scratches, treats, fresh water and litter, my time, verbal and visual attention, and just... talking to her for not good or bad reason. We lose so much in these times. Tears, though, and love... and loss... are graces. Embrace them. Cry. Let it hurt. Love the more for it. Store it away in heaven. Only through tears? Very much so, I suspect. Amen, and again I say to you, brother... sister... amen.
