Work helps.

.
.
Not all that much work, to be honest.  Still, pushing past my desire to rest, to help in small ways, with the plumbing, and getting to town, moving the old refrigerator out, and such?  It... added up.  How can I tell?  With what I ate, normally blood sugar would have spiked to into the low two hundreds to on into the upper three hundreds.

Fasting blood sugar, this morning, is 115.  Oh, sure.  Up a handful and a half from the 101 of yesterday.  But nowhere near the ceiling it often finds.  A heavy fatted coffee, after the meal, I think helped too.  The work and the extra fats both did their job.  And... a pretty solid carnivore diet for the near week before.

I didn't get down until 23:30, or so.  Maybe up to half an hour later, but I think that was pretty close.  Up at 6:30.  I want a shower this morning.  It is 49 out there, if I think it has already warmed a bit.  67 in the main and this front room, 76 upstairs down near me.  Probably around 73 in the main upstairs.  A very nice morning.

I needed the cool, after yesterday.  I did sleep like a baby, as well.  Between the work and getting heated up during the day, it sets me up for better sleep.  The world is just getting better.  I am able to handle the heat, and some more serious work, right through that heat.

Now, I... still have limits.  Age, illness, etc.  Today I need rest.  I have a few things needing done.  But, mostly, it will be an easier day.  Coffee right off the bat, a shower following shortly.  Sassy was fed, her litter box tended.  I changed her water yesterday, so will skip today.  Every other day in the summer, as she drinks just a bit more.

So very good to be in an opening up home.  More to do, if not today.  Through the week I'd like to get the kitchen cleared, cleaned, and opened itself.  Some rolling carts out... of there and I have one in this room too, to take into the master bedroom.  Then clear the halls, and paths, sweeping and mopping as I go.  On into the bathroom.  With the toilet clean, having the floor done will finish that zone... for now.

Starting tomorrow, I hope.  Today, though, rest.  I have done what I can, and then some.  For now.  Yes, I feel it.  Breathing has become labored, even at rest.  My heart is... heavy?  Something like that.  It is weary, literally.  My heart is tired, pressed, weighed down, thumping at a slower pace... or has that feel.  Yes, I am... quite worn.  But that I was even able to get to this stage of exhaustion is... very good.  I used to wear out after a day, or two, of work.  This has been?  Five of the last six days?

The dishwasher will help with life, in general.  Not just standard dishes.  It has a mode which sanitizes?  That will allow me to set up pints and quarts for things like kefir more easily, and for storing ghee.  If the thing can be trusted?  Who knows, but I'll definitely give it a shot.  Though if all it did was dishes, that would be quite enough.

And, the house is ready for it.  With water plumbed in, a drain created for it, electrical made ready for it.  Life is... good, that way.  And it was a lot easier, if still two to three days of effort?  Half days?  No, I'll call those full days.  They... were full days of effort, definitely how I count things.  Not, maybe, according to someone who works twelve hours, then sprays mosquitos at night, maybe.  But... that is almost freakishly hard working.  He needs his own business, to profit more from that sort of work.  And, yes.  He... has what it takes.  He has fragilities, and limits, but none that can't be overcome.  That's... how it starts, and maybe ends, just different sorts?

A beautiful morning, even if a bit weary.  Coffee is going in well.  I'd best get medicine in, too, before I forget.  Been doing well with medicine lately.  I think I missed a day, maybe two, last week.  As I was learning to jump the rope of work, again, while trying to balance usual, normal, daily life events and requirements in.

On with life.  Good morning, day, and get to it.
