.
The phone was checked on. It was in. So, after a bit of waking, in I went. It takes forever to get the phone set up and going. Tech, google, samsung, and all the rest. It is horrible to get that done. Hours and hours and hours.
First buying it, choosing things. It is made to be slow. And they sell you things along the way, upgrades, add-ons, etc. No, it's... terrible.
As well, I went with the galaxy tab. Though, to be honest, that thing may be going back. Not so much for the money, just because of the absolute shittery of that, and the phone. To be connected requires all data going to google, for example. And probably Samsung too. The advantage of having linked devices is destroyed by the invasiveness required to do so.
Well, and keeping these two devices charged enough to function, is going to be a joy. Assuming charging doesn't kill the batteries. Apparently, to get the phone to last longest, the battery? You can only charge it to 80%, overnight. Though charging it later, to 100%, might be okay? Though, that would require changing a setting every day? I'll figure that out, eventually.
And many of the features, to use them, you know requires allowing far too much access by people who shouldn't have it. As well, apps are insecure as hell. If the seller isn't outright jacking you, three ways from Sunday, someone else sure as heck is hacking through the apps.
Can't use the camera without the microphone. I want that ganked. And, until I have the case that allows me to cover the cameras, I have those so throttled they shouldn't be able to work. Even with the cases, I'll have it on on a query each time setting.
Depressing how awful these things are. The people on y.t. who are their to advise on the best settings? If they say something that seems stupid, creates intrusion, or simply opens your phone up? Don't do it. Should be called government tubes. I wish I could find a way to de-google the phone without bricking it. Well, and possibly losing the warrantee.
I have been offered a couple of choices for insurance. I chose. But being in, dealing with the devices until 19:00? I didn't get the response back. And she... isn't moving fast. I'm not even sure this is going through? I just don't know. Hopefully I'll hear something today.
I don't know. It's a bit past one. It was 60, outside, an hour ago. So I opened things up a bit. Will probably head on to bed. Then shut off the ac up there, and open windows again. It's good.
I did have a calzone. It's more filling than the pizza of similar size. But, as noted, the fillings are really becoming small sized. On the plus side, as a lunch special, with a salad and tea, it was only, around, $10? Though I keep forgetting, the salad seems great until you realize the dressing has soy, seed oils, and God only knows what else is in there. I do know the ingredients are addictive. That is why they all do it, which doubles down of folk. It makes all the trash taste addictively good, and is lethal to them.
As well, after the things were set up, I bought a burrito to be eaten at home. It's been days since I've eaten more than, say, four ounces of beef. Even whole fasting for several days in a row, and off and on. I had to put something in the tank.
It was 73/74 when I left, and about that when I got back home. Don't think it got much warmer, to be honest. A strangely cool day, given that it was 93/94 yesterday (or the hottest I saw it). I didn't expect it to up and drop twenty degrees in a day, for little reason. Hazy, thickly hazy, but that often doesn't matter, hasn't mattered. Must be something else happening.
Well, on to bed? Maybe a bit of water first. I'd like a fatted coffee, but that is just too much effort. And I've had too much else already today. Goodnight.
I have a theory I'll look into, using the comments to track my "ailment" timeframe/ cycle. How far apart are the symptoms? what was eaten or not... You know, troubleshooting and data gathering. One week/ 2-week, 28 days (shudder, damn female hormones). Think I remember seeing a thin crescent moon one of the last "episodes" , and I saw one last night driving in. With the cold sweats hot shivers, started yesterday, other possible trigger, pork, will look at that connection.
ReplyDeleteSparkling water didn't help, will try my home brand now, was some kind of sweetener in what I picked up last night. May do bitters, I have to get something in. Hope the cottage cheese is good. Calzone sounds better for a weird reason.
Yes. I went through that as I was truly first getting on keto, but much more so when getting on carnivore. I just call it the ketosis dt's.
ReplyDeleteI think it is more than carbs, now. So many foods you eat, from dressings to soda to beer to else? Have chemicals in them which are both toxic, and addictive. Flavor additives. They want you slopping in the shit they are selling, and dead by your early sixties to mid seventies. And those food additives will get you there.
Being in everything, they lead you to crave the garbage. Most people will never break it. Mostly because you go through dt's getting away from it, and most people are extremely pain adverse. They go with the flow, take the path of least resistance, and... yeah. Toss in the jabs, especially those who took every form and portion. Meh.
The calzone would have been good, but there was almost nothing in it. It was more filling than the pizza would have been, but not by much. Still, it was better than a burger, fries, and soda? Mostly. Bleh.
If I had some burger thawed, I'd be figuring out a way of making a cheeseburger, or crumble with sauerkraut, dill pickles, mayo. Cottage cheese is gone. Worked up a hunger, maybe.
ReplyDeleteI have a Dick Winters, biography waiting to be finished. Then Another Patton, or Tom Clancy.
Hungry/ not hungry.
Gotta drop the hammer on my "vacation" soon, leaning on solo, the dogs are too much of an unknown, I'll be second guessing myself until I walk out. However I can't trust them to follow commands in a stress situation where their lives depend on obedience. My fault. Then, I did want to "test us" a bit. Just not in peril.
More thinking. I'd have to take them both, for "their pack" experience. Comfort for each other. Not being "alone" with the loud Big guy. Speaking of loud, haven't had them around gunfire, though they do handle firework holidays much better then our Goldens ever did. Another test. Revolver training with the kids, those retrievers weren't "gun" trained, they ran in the house and pooped in the shower... Bless them.
"If I die before I wake... feed Jake".
Hmm... might have burger. Was so tired of it. Hadn't thought of sauerkraut. That is... acceptable, mostly. Even better if it is true sauerkraut, fermented and with cultures. I avoid mayo, unless I make it with known good oils. Difficult. Pickles are good, too, more so if truly fermented or honestly pickled. Last I saw, they were adding sugar even in those, often. Yes, I... really am being careful to avoid sugar, and... other odd things.
ReplyDeleteGotta do what you gotta do, with the dogs. But they would be difficult, without taking them out into nearby woods, and learning them. People, bears, heavy traffic. Dogs are sketch without a lot of pack leader training. Even then, they can still just go stupid.
Sh*tting in the shower? Reminds me of the first guy to get the golden sh*tter award, on our sub. (Only one, though another got the golden p*sser award). When down, we pressure to expel waist. We tie off the valves, and put up a warning. But that doesn't always matter.
Toilet structures, on subs anyway, are ball valves, with a water valve to 'flush'. If you open that dump ball valve, while it's pressurized? *blaam* (blond at any moment) :) At least your doggies didn't have to face that, too. But... they were baam's, either way?
Hmm, shouldn't start gun training a dog with a 44 magnum. All I'm saying. Use .22's, 410's, such. Then again, I was trained with a .45 acp, at five? :p
Oh? I... don't want to intrude? But I still think you should tell the bitter honey. Even if things are they way things are. Just... do it. Even if you say you want time alone, don't want to talk? But... yeah. Don't add sh*t to the sh*t list. For you, if not for her. But... that's your story to write.
ReplyDeleteDaisy BB, Gammo .17, Ruger 10-22, .38 then .357. As far as we exposed the dogs. I didn't have the skills to "train" them out of it. That was the Goldens, I've not exposed the Huskies...
ReplyDeleteFound some frozen meatballs... not near Ideal, I just can't do salmon again... Six, I will have... ok seven, no more. Considering I have 7 in the bowl, left, I think I took more than that.
Wonder How the Pups would like Salmon "popsicles" I'd hate to waste it... Wonder if they would fart "better" for the wife... Wouldn't want that in a Pickup truck.
FUN Fun fun!
Excellent training guns, for dogs... But it takes time, I guess. Especially for some dogs. Retrievers are supposed to be hunters, but blood isn't everything, either.
ReplyDeleteI'm still... not eating. I just won't. Might see about thawing some burger, for tomorrow? Maybe. And a steak? To see if those are any good, if I can't eat burger.
Then again? I used to think I needed to eat several times a day, and at least one huge meal, and several others. Now? I know I don't need to eat three times a day. As a fact, if it isn't my favorite, I don't need to eat daily. Every other, third, fourth, even fifth day? Yeah, yes. That will do. I just don't like it. But easily. Mostly.
