Women on the mind. Still on the mind, but like even the stories of the old gods, a hammer will remove Athena and allow men some peace. I use music as my hammer.
This first song reminds me of the sum of all boyhood dreams. When I was young trains were everwhere and always. Even little towns had train stops, at least all of the towns I lived in. Back then, passengers used trains, and buses. But buses were no where near as neat as trains. Trains did convey power, the ability to roam, seeming invincibility, and... they were great big toys!

This next song has something to do with something. I won't bother with the lyrics though. I remember hearing it on the radio when I was young and listened to the oldies. It was never a favorite. It has taken on a whole new meaning to me, somehow, though. Well, I'll let you try to figure it out for me if you can. While I'm not sure it helps with the current cause célèbre... it... doesn't hurt somehow either.
And finally, the first heavy metal song or ballad perhaps regarding war that caught my attention. I was pleased to move away from pacifist music that only saw war as bad or worse. While war and fighting isn't a "happy thing", there are two sides and one side is often more right than the other. Further, sometimes, in a big or little way, there is no choice. And quite often, win, lose, or draw, it is what it is. It was good to hear that some singers and bands seemed to understand both the good, the bad, and just the way it was.

That should be enough to cleanse my hormonal palate I should think. Mostly. How can you ever really clean it though? Ah, right, a half dozen or more rugrats. Oh... Yeah... Heck, the first one will probably settle you right down.
