Up at a reasonable hour.

.
.
With the givens at hand.  I woke a bit before I actually woke and before the alarms went off, though I can't quite tell you when.  Something about floating back teeth.  I had set the alarms for 12:00 and 13:00.  As I came back to bed I really didn't want to mess with alarms, so I turned them off.  I woke just a bit past 13:00 anyway.  You would almost think I plan these things sometimes.  Nope.  For me, seven or eight hours is the perfect amount of sleep, unless I have been shorting myself too much, too often, then a few days of ten hours (to my mind) would be best (if in those cases I usually end up sleeping twelve hours rather than what I think would be ideal).  The truth is, when it comes to sleep, I have little control.  If my body demands sleep no alarm or emergency can shake it.

I know I have been dreaming lately.  I think the dreams have been fairly interesting, good dreams.  I just can't remember them when I wake, even if I happen to wake shortly after the dream.  I just getting a passing sense that something good, or fun, just happened.  While I prefer to remember dreams, some dreams I would rather have stay locked out of memory.  The dreams where I feel just as tired when waking as if I had not slept are among those.  Life is a grabbag though and you never know what you will pull from the hat.

I feel a little run down today, still.  Hmm, opening the curtains might offer relief from that.  At least it lets in a little sun, and mountain views.

I read a blog post having something to do with human speech today.  Something about 400k years ago and an enhanced nerve bundle hole through the skull from the brain to the tongue, give or take.  I buy the latter, not the former.  Old humanoids were not human and I have great doubts, at best, about evolutionary theory as it stands.  Apes were not hairy men wanting to walk straight and tall.  The missing link is God.  Just... saying.  Still, I thought about it.  I realize I am a prolific writer and speaker.  My problem is I honestly have no real advice, nothing to say, what I have seen was seen through the eyes of someone who knows little, just a lot of words that just flow out of me.  Like a sprinkle on the ocean, my words are just... there, then not.  Oh, sure, I can craft them a bit to almost look like something.  But it is merely for entertainment purposes, and mostly they entertain me only.  If someone else gets a chuckle, or even a snort of derision, that is fine too.  I suppose.  Like a monkey locked in a cage, the rest of the world is merely... peripheral.  Or... something.  Oh don't get all depressed about it.  Just saying.

Have a good day.
