Just starting.

.
.
I did reset dishes earlier.  I've fiddled, making tea and a few other things.  Regular whole wheat was opened and ground, along with standard spelt as well.  If I hadn't mentioned, or done it by last post.  I meant to sprout regular wheat, but dishes were in the way.  I did a few, reset the rest.  I'm hoping to make a loaf or two of whole sprouted spelt tomorrow, then regular spelt, then sprouted or regular wheat bread.  Mostly practice.  I'll want to start the dough tonight.  Don't need to sour overnight, but I enjoy sourdough at it's best.

What else tonight?  If I can finish the dishes, soaking regular wheat, a shave and shower.  As I am cooking meat crumble and sprouted spelt berries, before finishing dishes for obvious reasons, I may put a load of laundry in.  And I could sweep the bathroom before I shower.  Actually, setting up oats would be good.  I have to take the long term storage lid off, replace it with an easy-access lid, then close it back up.  I was a bit surprised, when I did that for the regular wheat pail, how much force was required.  Not a test for me, or the rubber mallet.  I just wasn't sure the plastic would survive.  I was cautious, only using fractions of my strength.  I'm officially cycling grains.  Legumes as well.  I will want to replace what I am using, and then some.  Oh, and coconut oil, which is both for consumption and soap, or will be soon.  Took a bit, it's still give or take, but I am storing to live and living off it.

It's not fancy.  It isn't full up and everything.  But it is getting there.  If finances stabilize, I catch my breath, I get beef and pork back in supply, canning and jerking some of it, then stock up on regular canned foods...  I am getting there.  It's just hit or miss because of bureaucratic tomfoolery.  And some inability to deal with them well.  I'll get there.

I best get to laundry.  The berries are sort of done.  The meat will be fast.  Later.
