At least I have been on it right out of the gate. I can't recall what I have done, beside starting dinner. I know I finished, perhaps, a quarter of the plan. Then hunger took over. All in spite of never having quite awaken. Then on to dinner. Chicken, roasted over slices of rutabaga, with herbed butter strategically placed at various junctures under the skin. As well, mashed potatoes. Honest to God, from peeled, mashed, potatoes. I'll check the chicken quick. I'm guessing another half hour. I'll check in fifteen. Drats, forgot garlic cloves in with the butter.
More dishes? Well, mostly new stuff. Some truly new new, some I am just sorting up to the wash list. And of course, supper. Hmm, I might sweep while waiting for food. Then move a few containers back to soap making station. After the meal I'd like to hit dishes, then the stove and kitchen table. Then start the bread? Sure. I found the recipe I'll be using. Gah, wait, that's for einkorn. Spelt is more similar to einkorn than modern wheat, and yet I wouldn't want to bet my success on it.
Slogging through, and just, this day. Kewl. I'll make it. Later.

Quite good. Something about a rounded meal that makes it better. Perhaps too many carbs starches. And, yet, for the rarity I don't mind. I was definitely hungry. A young small bird, yet half consumed. I think I'll have another bit of potatoes and slice of rutabaga. It may not be a king's dinner. But luckily I am no king of this world and I believe I am more rightly fed for it. And dishes are almost done, sweeping was finished, plus the equipment was stored in it's right area, all before I started my meal. I am getting there.
Hmm? Oh, the surfaces, stove, oven, and table top? Yes. If first finding a spelt bread recipe, then getting that dough started. I may let that rise just once and bake it yet tonight. Can't say I'm not swinging at the pitches. Later.
