Maybe better than okay?  Yes.  Still tiring easy.  Still pushing through.

I started gathering the kit, to begin working on the tool roll.  I was partly into sorting when I decided to call my Philippine source.  He video blogs, about his life over there.  As it turns out, he provides a service.  Fine, as long as I know.  He went into rather great detail.

I reminded him that I wasn't set to arrive for a year, or more like two.  Good, good.  That is wise, he suggested.  Still, he went on with his information lending.  And that is a start.  There is a bit to do before going over.  From getting the motorcycle license to getting a number of government files certified... though there is a specific term for it, to having enough money.

Currently, including a security deposit (which I can't use), and all fees, fines, costs, and such, it should run about $3,300 to get a retirement visa, should that all work and be allowed.  There could be hiccups.  We'll see.  I asked several questions, and am better informed.

From where to begin the journey, over there.  To costs, and licensing for driving/id, even to good spots to move after things have been arranged.  Just understand, it's... a different country, different ways, different attitudes.  Nothing I... haven't experienced before.  If I haven't had to endure it for long.  Though was younger, so... it mattered, but in different ways.

A good call.  A resource I am hoping I can depend upon for my goals.  Yeah.  I think I got it.  Plus, I'll call him as the time grows nearer.  Some of the paperwork has to be "fresh", produced within six months.  Some not.  I will begin exploring the paperwork requirements.  I'm sure I'll need some things that have been lost.  Will want those, for visa and visa id anyway.  Don't need a visa, for the Philippines?  But want it and the id even so.

Then I got back to the tools, after the call.  I purchased a socket holder, for the various sizes.  Two sets, actually.  Needed both sets for the 3/8th's.  But the 1/4" sockets, deep and standard, fit on one double sided bar socket holder.  Got them all fitted and in.

Found an 8" crescent wrench, put that in.  Put the socket bars, ratchets, sizers, and extensions in the kit.  And, for now, closed it up.  She has gained a wee bit of weight.  Looking thick, plush even.  Nice.  *grins*

Then I got to a steak.  I had read about cooking frozen steak, right from the freezer?  Sounded ridiculous.  Which... means I had to disprove it.  So... here I set, letting the steak rest.  I may have slightly overcooked it.  I set an alarm.  Thought I had started it, but it didn't get going.  Still, just... slightly longer... over temp... than wanted.  Curious.

A decent little start.  Oh, and asked if dairy had been bought yet.  Nope.  So, asked for an extra quart of cream.  I'm drinking more of that, since I'm not adding sweetener.  Trying to... do a bit better.  All good.  Time to eat.  I'll... let you know, later.  Now, this won't be the final judgment, merely the initial data point.  Later.
