.
I got to bed shortly before 18:00. Wasn't sure I would sleep. Did. Well. But for only about three hours. Right as it was about to click over to 21:00, I awoke. On the good side, it was just four hours since my last antibiotic. So, that goes down the hatch, four I think, today. Irregularly. My timing is a bit off. But... close enough? I guess.
The leg. It hurts. Brutal. It has scabbed over, well. And, is warm. In spite of whatever else? That antibiotic has taken care of... that problem, and probably some others? If, too, it is thrashing me harshly. Whatever was wrong? That fixed some things, and continues to fix some things. I've probably had some underlying issues for a very long time.
The problem with that? I'm having to figure out an increase of health which is changing some things. My feet aren't cold bricks anymore. Which, I'm sort of used to... which makes sleeping difficult? Yes. Yes it does. And, really, my feet are hot, all day. Going without socks doesn't help. I have some hope, that when I finish with the antibiotics, that my feet and lower legs will go back to normal. Either that or they will be very warm from now on. I just don't sleep well with a warm body, or more a hot body. If, though, I have to admit? It's better to have hot feet than feet that can't be warmed? Mostly. I suppose, too, I will sort that out. As I had with frozen feet and legs. Ugh.
But... the pain. That... I won't let them harm me like that again. Ever. For any reason. Even with painpills, I... don't want painpills. Those are addictive. Some people will trade torture for addiction, I won't. Everything medical seems rigged against the patient. I simply won't allow that kind of pain to be induced while examining a problem. I told you, they are only letting the psychopaths through. More right than I... remembered, thought. No. Ugh.
On the good side, the infection has, at worst, diminished. Gone? I don't think, fully, quite yet. But it has scabbed over, and feels... healthier. My heart is still having... problems. Blood sugar is elevated. I think, too, those are parts of it. They get more federal money for "proving" illness, even if it was they who created it and they know they did it. Evil, medicine, these days. And government. It's all evil.
Blood sugar, while elevated, is still an improvement. It was 116 just now, 115 for the weekly average, 115 for the biweekly average, and 137 for the monthly average. When the pain, in the leg, lessens, I suspect I can get it back down, closer to 100 average. Ugh. I guess one eats pain, in strange ways. That kind of pain, besides increasing nausea two or three fold over the carnivore diet increase, has also increased the stress hormone by a lot, too. Even so, a 115, for a two week average, is pretty good.
I had that steak. The fat, on new york strips, can be odd. The last three have been good, but this one was... off. Again. So I didn't eat it. But the meat was good. I think there is simply a limit to how long the meat can be frozen? And, how many times it can be unfrozen? I think some of this has become unfrozen, somewhere in shipping, and it... gets off. We simply don't have good, honest, and reliable food shipping in America any more.
I am going to begin looking for local food production. The problem with that, is I may end up paying a premium and still not getting it. Raising animals is hard work. Making a reasonable profit is good. But everybody wants more, for less. You simply don't know what you are getting, and can't always be sure... there are no guarantees. As well, it depends on the honesty of the rancher. If your cut is premium? Rather than giving you the rare pearl, he may just double sell that, giving you a lower cut. Wanna bet? Though, to be absolutely honest? I'm not sure prime is always all that premium. If they are jerking their first seller, then it may be frozen a couple of times before it gets to the final cutter. Cheating has a price.
Well... on to looking around, a bit of gaming, and maybe back on to bed before too long? Trying to get my days back. I'm up for the burning feet and legs, and because... I wasn't sure if it was going to be a fart or a sh.. Gas, this time. I think antibiotics are causing me to be gassy. But both that, and the meat only diet, for now, make anything that feels like gas suspicious. Not... worth taking the risk, so I find out on the pot, not fifteen feet away. Sprays, when it goes wrong, but not that far! :p So... gas. But... it keeps coming. So, I'll... keep checking... while safely seated. Ugh.
Later.
