OMG that hurt.

.
.
I did get in to see the doctor.  Pretty quick, all told.  There was someone else there, a family.  Non-English speaking.  But, that was it.  I was a bit surprised.  I suppose people have completely backed out of seeing doctors.  Often, like even me, stalling these things.  Just... don't trust doctors anymore.

After today, I'm more certain I don't trust doctors.

They got me in.  Again, bp was way high.  Though... maybe, this time.  I was nervous about what they would do.  And, yeah.  He cleaned the wound, scrubbed it.  Did... I mention it was tender around the wound?  But the wound itself was treacherously sore.  Youch!

I haven't been that close to passing out in... I don't know how long.  Then he bandaged it.  Told me to clean it like that daily, and reset the bandages.  I told him I can't do that.  He said I could.  Only one of us is right.  It isn't him.  He set me up with cephalexin, 500 mg, four times a day.  And, set up a consult with wound specialists.

Either he was just jerking with me, or he is telling my I'll be losing that leg.  Because, if cleaning it daily is requires to save it, I can't do that without some sort of help.  Something to numb it?  Something.  I can't do that.  I WON'T do that.  My heart is still, from time to time, going through irregularities, from that pain, and from the pains that come and go since.

I've had one of the four doses.  And will stay up just long enough to have another.

I was so freaked and upset I nearly stopped for burritos, or... something else.  But... I've been doing so well with diabetes, and I wasn't sure how much the meds would cost, that... I skipped that.  Oh, but... who doesn't consider something... more... when in pain?  Food, of a certain type, has always been a comfort type thing.  Not a good thing, but...

Still, I... wanted something.  So I got a tray of veggies... small tray.  Carrots, celery, cauliflower, and broccoli.  And I ate that, with salt, when I got home.  Still having flutters.  Now way can I wash that out daily.  Won't.  Oh my God, even with him doing the cleaning, so I could grip the bench with both hands.  At least I didn't scream out, or... other.  I... still almost passed out.  Wow.  Ouch.

We'll see.  Maybe the stuff will work.  Don't know.  Now, though, to look up this antibiotic.  Good night.
