Up, reasonably.

.
.
Sleep wasn't all that good.  Pain, now and again, would wake me.  Harshly.  And, really, I never went without hurting through the night, small or large, asleep or awake.  But I did get some rest in there.  I took it, it wasn't given, offered, or generally just available.

Down about a quarter after twenty two hundred, up a quarter to six.  I looked outside, to see if we got more snow.  While we hadn't, we are.  It is coming down in almost a wave.  Heavy, thick, fast.  And it is still cold out there, right at four if my morning eyes saw clearly.

Medicines, first thing.  A timer set for four hours.  The goal, today, is to be finished with medicine at around 18:00, and be able to go to bed when willing.  I had to stay up later, last night, to get the last doses of things in, because I had such a late start, and missed the timer somehow... was delayed.  Even then I had to push medicines.  I wasn't taking them with the right timing.  Improvements are hoped today.

Blood sugar is staying right at 120.  Between near-constant pain and lack of truly good, solid, sleep, it just won't improve.  All day yesterday, too, 120 to 126.  I hurt in the day, too.  So, yeah.  That is just stress hormones pushing that up.  Even so, 120... given the givens... is good enough.

I can't improve my diet to compensate.  I'm eating as well as possible.  Avoiding sugars, carbs, pretty much everything.  I'm not eating much, can't.  Some carnivores suggest one needs, say, nearly three thousand calories a day, for a small, trim, fit woman.  And?  I agree.  IF... she is in shape, and is working out to beat the band.  WHILE she is becoming fit, she may need almost no calories.  Just enough to get through, more psychologically, emotionally.  Or he, in my case.

All I really have to ensure is that I am getting vitamins and minerals.  Those... are vital, even, or especially, as I lose weight.  Those are inputs which will keep me on track.  And, I take those.  Well, and electrolytes.  Plus, I take enough water and fats to make those items usable in my body.  Some things require fats, in order to be absorbed.  Some are water based.  I get plenty of both of those, if not enough to gain weight.

Though my weight loss may have tapered, plateaued even.  Not having my leg under me, hurting to walk, doesn't help.  The cold is slowing me down, adding to that.  But, unless those things kill me, they are temporary.  We'll see.

The ironing board is supposed to arrive Friday.  I need to look to see if I can find my irons.  Get those out and ready.  Hopefully I'll be in better shape by Friday, in order to begin.  Or Saturday, if the items don't arrive until later in the day.  Then, to get through the pile of things upstairs.  The brackets, for installing a hanging bar in the closet, has arrived.  I just need to obtain either a pipe or thick dowel to fit it, well, and figure out how to install it.

I bought two sets.  One for hanging, the other for an attempt at setting up a set-up bar, down low upstairs, against one of the walls.  The only limitations on that are dependent upon the stud width upstairs.  I'll bet they are sixteens, but... I'll have to check.  Yes, I'll... start that up, if I can get that installed and low enough to function as intended.

Well... on to waking up a bit better.  I am playing a new game, Ark... something or other.  I got it free.  Actually, I got this and the last game free.  It takes nearly a decade for games offered at a premium to finally be fixed to a playable state.  Then they are given out freely, to get people to play them?  Oh well.  I guess that is the way it will go.  I won't buy a game fresh, these days.  I'm not going to pay to be a beta tester.  Sure, they leave the cheats in, but not for a gift, out of necessity... in order to get through... if you like that way.  Meh.

Coffee.  Still have nausea, but coffee hasn't been making that worse... or better.  Neither has food.  It just is what it is, a side effect, currently, of pain.  Perhaps a bit from carnivore?  I just can't be absolutely certain.

Oh, something else?  I used to have a complete "flat tire", around my middle.  Now?  Just a bit of a flap up front.  It's shrinking.  Well, there is still the underlay.  Now, it's all coming off.  But, to be honest?  It looks at least as bad as it did before, but maybe worse.  I may never look "good", again.  That may just not be possible.  But, I... will be healthier?  In some sort of theory?

As suggested, I am not doing this to lose weight.  Not strictly, primarily, as a focus.  I am doing it to control diabetes, to improve general health, so that I won't die (from that anyway).  When you have gone too far, there is no... true recovery?  Ugh.  Still, I'll take it.  Later.
