.
a spear is piercing from you shoulder blade through your chest, at a downward cant, back to front? It's been like that for days now. Not exactly sure why. Too much sleep? Something in the lungs, and infection? A body ache from slouching, from exhaustion? A side effect of antibiotics, or what I am taking that for? I... just don't know. It does hurt though.
It's past bedtime. Still, good to stretch a little longer, when I can. I'll set the alarms again, one for six, one for eight. should be enough sleep time. I'll also leave the door open, so Sassy can come up. I'm trying to keep that available to her most of the time. Just, some nights, I need to... touch nothing at all. I need to sleep like the dead, and can't do that with a little furry friend. She fusses so, before settling in.
No promises about waking at those times. Then again, I may awaken by three. Just... never can tell. Oh, while not perfect, blood sugar is to 118. That is the lowest it has been since I ate the burrito. Which... had rice and beans, plus the tortilla... flour. Though flour or corn are... about equally bad for one. Still, nice to see it down just a bit. Wasn't sure if the lettuce would through that off. Seems not? Time will tell.
I have all the medicine I was supposed to take in and down. Which... is good. Then I don't have to worry about taking some at night, during the night, and hope I count, or adjust, or such, the right medications... while mostly asleep.
Hmm... yes... on to bed. Sleep should be wonderful. Well, except that I can't seem to find a good way to sleep, without the leg hurting so deeply. I have taken painkillers. And, honestly, today has been fairly painfree, regarding the leg. But, laying down? Yeah. I reset bandages morning and night, change the ointment, and redo the bandaging clear through. Now that it is open, it weeps a great deal more. I have to change it. Unlike when their is a scab, and only scant leaking. Yes, a better type of bandage would help. The gel type, is the one I am thinking would work the best? Time will tell. Or... was that better for dry? No, I think that was the one that was good for pretty "wet" wounds. The painkillers didn't do anything for the chest ache though. So... who knows. But, as mentioned, the leg wound hasn't bothered me all day.
Goodnight.
