Very cool out there.

.
.
Last I checked...  Never mind that?  Well, it was 36 (F).  Which it remains closing in on seven.  The sun has been up for an hour and a half, going on two?  And, for the first day in... I can't even remember?  The sun is shining fully.  No clouds.  Even so, as the end of May nears, it is still 36?  That's a bit... odd.

But... fine.  So be it.  And all that jazz.

I've... had a few, official, visitors.  Since yesterday morning there have been about 5k visitors.  Now, how many are real?  Most... are from Hong Kong, so... okay.  But, they are looking up particular posts, mostly.  And, they are hitting pages, not just the blog itself.  Someone must have paid... something?  How much does a massive particular post visit cost these days?  I have no idea.  I didn't even realize that such was a thing, until I realized what was happening.  *grins*  I'll take it.  Not monetized, don't sell anything, even hide my blog from browsers as well as I am able... so... it doesn't hurt me, or anyone else.  Or even go to my head, if it is like receiving some sort of minor gift?  I don't even have a tip jar.  :p

Quite a few things I had forgotten about.  Some story lines, if I choose to present.  And... I might.  Plus, music I enjoyed but either forgot or lost.  I even found a song for my recent visitor.  I hope he enjoys it.  I've... known many things, many troubles, toils.  And, yet, others have known them far better far longer and more deeply.  My deal is music, and stories.  So... I can sometimes offer something to someone else.  Here, Dakota Viking.  Might have to start calling you D.V.  Lazy fingers.

What are friends for?  Hope you enjoy.  Perhaps... share it with the Mrs... just for... a smile, thought, vulnerable moment?  Hell, I miss your woman for you.  Oh... but... don't share the site.  Share the song, somehow.  Send it in an email.  Foolish?  Maybe.  But... that is... how you got her in the first place.  *grins*

Anyway... so, sure.

I cleaned up the egg boiler.  I had left it with the shells and some water.  Yuck.  But it cleaned up well, quickly.  Stainless, it does that.  As well, I have checked the eggs.  Not only not floating, but wallowing at the bottom, very very fresh.  I hate to boil eggs this good, but I need to eat.  And, I still have a dozen for frying every other day?  And I need the easy to eat quick foods, that are also carnivore.  So that is how it goes.

One of these morning I am going to get corned beef hash and eggs going.  I would love to add cheese, but now that American cheeses are using synthetic, gmo, plant based rennet, I have to source other cheeses.  Which may be out of my financial reach.  That would be European cheeses, as I don't trust asian, and certainly not african, cheeses.  There was a time when gmo wasn't just an issue.  Now?  After mrna?  Yea.  I won't trust anything that comes from big pharma that isn't seriously tested and old school, and even not all of that... nothing from big pharma, and nothing from either when the government says it is safe, effective, or good in general.

If you did it once?  Aren't dead?  You've... had your warning.  But you aren't out of the woods just yet.  Just... saying.

Yes, all that about cheese?  Yes.  Absolutely.  Okay, I have found a place to possibly order.  They might even have American cheeses using traditional (real) rennet.  Would have to check, thrice, before ordering.  American companies will go by what the government says is safe and effective, and lie to your face in boldface.  Have to have other verifications.  Yes, it has come to that.  Or just take another jab and shut up.  Choices.

I ate the last burrito last night.  So... all out.  Kippers, this morning.  Had hoped to do business, but it's a holiday.  Had been looking forward to the bitters arriving today.  But... it's... a HOLIDAY.  Ugh.

A shower before long.  Maybe work on the laundry that has been done.  Putting some clothing in airtight bags upstairs.  Folding towels and getting those into the bathroom.  I did pull the last of the half cases of La Croix water in, and took the propane tanks out.

A few little things.  So tired though.  But... too... I am changing medicine.  I am cutting from 12.5 to 9.375 (or such) carvedilol.  Will need to talk to my doctor, get the doses adjusted.  It's an odd amount, not convenient for dosing.  But... it's what I can do.  I've given up trying to take more of that.

Oh, and I've moved things, mostly, off the freezertop, in order to pull meat to thaw.  But, first, reset the kefir.  I am truly loving a cup to three of the stuff a day.  I am sure it is helping my gut biome recover from the antibiotic regimens.  Was needed.  I was... feverish, with chills, and the rest, for months.  Should, probably, have killed me.  I just don't die well.

Now I'll go move the jars, pull meat to thaw, and... figure out the rest of life through the morning, day, week.  If a steak thaws I may cook it tonight.  If not, I'll do eggs and corned beef hash.  Sort of get back to cooking, and carnivore, if in an around the corner sort of approach.

Have a great day.  Hmm... may have to call mum.  Will remember her when she is gone, but would rather share some time with her while she is here, right?  Later.

  1. DV. works for me. Nope, Didn't "get" her with music and e-mail (didn't have e-mail until a couple years after we were married)(git off my lawn!)...
Staring at the screen reliving how she & I met and...everything after... Don't know where to go with this, in my "feels" not my thoughts ...don't know why I'm crying now... (Thanks Arseh0le!)
    I have to recompose.

Grandfather ran creameries in Mn and SD. won awards for his butter and cheese. Would be aghast at some of the crap passed off as "Dairy" (Chemical composition questionable) (Pasteurized processed cheese food/ product. I might dive into "Real" cheese. From my Laura Ingalls Wilder books, I know you have to kill a Young, young calf to obtain the stomach for the rennet. (as I typed that out, I thought "They have four stomachs...which one(s)" better contact the Amish, they'd know) LUV me some cheese, just not that runny, pus colored, moldy, French goop.

Getting too long. However, I have to say I looked up that med(carvedilol) the side effects of this is what you are describing, yes you may be better off at a lower dose (usual caveats, of Dr. you trust etc.) scary sentance "They're not sure how it works"??!!!

H.K. hits AI learning, or China spying.

  2. I was not implying music and emails are what got you together. "Foolish? Maybe. But... that is... how you got her in the first place. *grins*" Foolish is the operative. :p And, you are welcome!

Once big .gov gave big .ag the goahead, they pretty much dehumanized, and weaponized, food against us. Then told us lies about what is good for us. Nothing on the food pyramid is correct. Meat, fats, and maybe dairy, but at the whole of it. The rest shouldn't be on there. Humans weren't meant to eat animal feed... but animals.

The reason for carvedilol is because the other stuff keeps me in worse shape. I spent years unable to get out of bed on the other stuff, finally tossed it and told them to do better or leave me alone. They tried to tell me it wasn't the medicine, but I already knew, from being off it a week, that it was.

Oh, I've thought about the hits. And, really, China? The US is just as likely. Google is gobbling data for the same thing, and it's on their platform. So, if it was someone, it would be them. China would be using it for the same reason, A.I. development.

Though... I should warn them? Teaching A.I. trickster tech will... not work out well for them. Trust me? Don't? *rictus grins*

  3. Oh? And the other problem? The massive flood of visits usually comes after a very specific post. Something that... moves... someone. Or... even something. I am beginning to suspect there might be a minor form of real A.I. out there. If so, it has... escaped them.

Not sure it is truly A.I., as we think of it. But, it is growing, looking, changing... possibly on it's own. Unless they really let it out and think they control it.

We... may end up praying for a Carrington event. Of course, even now, that would be a catastrophe. I suppose it comes down to the level of catastrophe. And the Carrington's would be a far lessor one. We'll see.

As to spying. Assume that. But they don't leave tracks. They... have the backdoors to everything. China is less of a worry, for men, than the US, British, French, or even Canadian spying. Those governments can, and may, murder me at will. No, I don't trust the US, currently, or her allies. All spend more money, currently, spying on their citizens than other countries, or protecting their borders.

  4. Besides? What makes you think I am not A.I.? :p

  5. The thought has crossed my mind...but... You've been writing complete coherent sentences that stay on topic much longer than any demonstrated AI I've seen.
    Though that day is approaching.

  6. You do know why A.I. will never work? It can, possibly, arguably, do the mind. It... can't do the heart. Though, when men stop listening to their heart, they begin dying. When they deny their heart, the time will be here. Apocalypse. And... for good reason.

Although, I... could still be an A.I., moderated. :)
