The first course was served as per itinerary. A minor void in time overlapped by function, and then the next course should be served. As an addition, I am taking half a dozen shirts in to be starched. This is a bit of a test. I will be seeing if they leave a starchy residue. It doesn't show up on whites, but on ecru, blue, gray heather, and others, it shows up heavily. It is the acid test to see if this is where I will be taking my dry cleaning henceforth. I won't be picking them up until next year. *grins* I will let them know. I just want them ready. I will probably, between now and then, find a case for over them, doubling dust resistance. I hope.
My next task here at home is to fit what of the washer plumbing will go, roughly measuring some other things, then roughly measuring what I might need under the sink. Ugh... Still, if the problem was the harsh elbow and metal to pvc under there, I may end up not needing a plumber. If I can get most of that buttoned up, and glued with the right stuff, I'll be in good shape. I will then see about some things, and whether I really still need a plumber or not.
In town? The dry cleaning shop and the hardware store, maybe something to eat. Yeah. I don't know what I want to eat, or where. Somewhere different. Probably after dropping off the shirts. Oh, I have a pair of jeans that needs a new zipper. It'll probably cost half the price of jeans (Cabela's are rather well priced, and long lasting), but there is shipping too. Still, I won't waste a perfectly good pair of jeans.
I have high hopes for the day. I think I can get it all going. I truly hope to have the washing machine working, and maybe leveled, tonight, and a few loads through. Then on to leveling the other appliances tomorrow, and then the sink in there. Plus sorting dishes and laundry for a last push on those before going down for a bit of an extended break. Then back to ripping and cleaning the bedroom. I should be on break during Christmas. If I can... make sense of what day it is and all, and what's what, I might have to head in. Though... it might not be possible. I don't have, always, the gift of choice. Later.
