Fevered chills. My limbs were icy, the rest fevered. The sunburn is surfacing. Making me quite ill. Had to turn off the ac, then it got too warm. I turned it all back on, but it was too hot to stay down. Still really sick. And, as the burns surface, I have to be careful. As I attempted a friction hoist myself out of bed, using my shoulder and upper arm, I felt skin giving way. I could have slaked off a five by ten hunk of skin, into something like road rash. Gently, carefully, I found a way down and out.
The fever made me so thirsty. Pickles, pickle juice, and olives, to break the grale in my fevered throat. It worked, mostly. The throat is still slightly fevered, as is the body. And achy. Perhaps more aspirin? Even my eyelids are beset by fever. It's rough, as there is still a minor war between the frigid extremities and the burning core. The heat, which crowns my brow, is the one which needs the most care. It is like being on fire on the inside.
Burn... Perhaps it has cooled enough upstairs. Good night, I hope. Dreams, of terrible things, in the flames.
Was it even ever fun? Really?
