To shorten and ease a potential shave later, trimming the whiskers helps. A fresh blade helps too. It didn't take much of, but it seems to stiffen and straighten the whiskers. It means two shorter periods of standing, rather than a longer single time. My life is down to planned efficiency and extreme limits, and deprivations.
If I can't do it, or figure out how to part jobs and chores, I might well have to go without. It... gets tiring have to figure out every last little detail, especially with an extra limited memory. Unless there is a good reason for something, best to go without. So, why shave? It allows my ego to almost believe we aren't dead. Or at least not completely dead to the world.
As to dosing... The plan was 8 cc's fast acting three times a day, plus 25 cc's slow acting once a day. The slow acting is on target. The fast acting not so much. I am down from 20 cc's two to three times a day, to 8 to 15 cc's three times a day. Although I take it more frequently, I have different parameters. I just take less, if always with a meal, even if it is lower than I would have taken it before. Unless it is below 90, so long as I am eating, I will take at least 8 cc's.
I am writing this out, not to bore you but to get it straight in my mind, which should translate back to action. I am memorizing my programming. It seems to be working. And fast acting insulin is decreasing... more so when I don't indulge in sugars, starches, or carbs. I don't know if it will ever really work. But, for now, this is the program.
I am still not sure if I will be crashing shortly, or showering and getting on with my day. But I did, thank you AoSHQ, run into not just a simple, tasty recipe, but inexpensive food. When I can't think or remember, it's good to have friends... or for my part. Oh, and keto gravy, which can work for any meat really. I personally don't believe in vegetable stock or gravy... anyway... I may have to alter the chicken recipe, can't have sugars. But I think it is doable. Further, if I can get a solid keto version of that sauce, I'm thinking pork chops, tougher beef cuts with more moisture and time, possibly more. I've go about $50, plus three packs of meat and veggies for the month... and another trip to the V.A. Tight, baby. Later.
