.
Mostly. Just. I went down at 18:50, waking at 03:50... scratch that. The alarm time must be off. It seems I actually woke at 02:50. Hmm. I'll have to reset the alarm. Easy to bump a button and do odd things, perhaps change the time zone? I'll figure it out as I go to sleep, or reset medicine sets tonight.
A very good sleep. Had to pee twice. Then again, the jug is still only half full after four days? Usually it would be full in three or four days. Twice last night, if rather heavy... or more like normal, what has been normal anyway. Though, even twice is less, and allows better sleep. I am considering going back to compression socks, if lighter ones, but at least to the knee, maybe up to the thigh. Thirty bucks a shot, but... The only thing wrong with the thigh-highed ones, if they do work the best, they are rather tight. Can't really wear them around day and night, just too much. But they really really work at keeping the feed and ankles dry. I suppose I could use them, just take them off at night, which I have been doing. Cleaning them is the other thing. Really, they need to be handwashed. And they are $30 a pair. Ugh. I would really like three or four pair, so they have time to wash and dry, and maybe one spare back.
I set the alarm, on the oven, for three hours. That is when I will feed the girls. And, actually, have breakfast myself. I need to get away from eating first thing in the morning, to closer to "lunch". Actually, that is the goal. For the moment, three hours in is good. I would like to begin eating more like six to eight hours after I wake. And, if I can today, I will. If I become a twitching twitch, I'll go ahead and eat. But I am guessing I am well into keto. I really haven't had more than 30 carbs on a day in weeks... since that last Wendy's meal, with fries and a regular soda.
It is strange to be eating like this. I have done it for longer periods before, when I couldn't get out. And there are still times where I ate less, on top of it, because I really didn't have food. Then I would hit carbs, though, from in my pantry. I do keep some foods which are higher carbs... more for preparedness reasons. And, perhaps before I die, there will be a time for them. Diabetes be damned, as food is becoming too expensive AND scarce, on purpose of our government and corporations, carbs will have to be eaten. Just understand that.
Blood sugar was rather high this morning. At 156 fasting, I wonder if the "pasta" was a bit of a push? But two hours after, it was reading 103, so that... unless blood sugar was merely moderated, for a short while. Or if it takes longer to digest this sort of food? I have another dose today, I'll... figure it out. Perhaps I'll have to eat less? Or... just call it my "cheat" day meal, once every two weeks, and with extra insulin as an understanding? I'll... sort it out.
As mentioned, I won't deal with chores until the light is up. Sometime definitely after 07:30, possibly past 08:30 these days? At least when heavily overcast. Well... on to... waking. I suppose I could turn the water to heating. I just wish it kept it warm for longer than an half hour. I could have tea, to start things. Mint tea has been a little joy, plain or even very lightly sweetened. But, when not in the feeding time, plain. Nothing to break the fast. I wonder if the electrolytes break fast? I should probably hold off on those until within the eating times. Same for some of the vitamins. Ugh.
Good morning, night, and/or day. God's speed and blessings.
Now get off my porch! :)
