I don't know. This game is deep. Really, really, deep. And
it doesn't ever really seem to level off. Just keeping up is a trick,
but no... that... you'll never keep up. So far, out of sheer luck from
what I can tell, I haven't failed to put together fuel, or parts, to do
various things.
Basically it is a space exploring and combat sim type of thing. Only,
you have to mine for fuels. But... it... takes two or three types of
fuels. On top of fuels, you need to keep yourself alive, with oxygen top
offs, electrical (and/or other) life support needs, and else. It's... a
hot mess.
A few upgrades have helped, a few things. But... it's still drudging
through, destroying a lot of things, hoping... to find what is needed... and
to remember how to turn raw materials into the needed components (though some
things can only be purchased... gah!).
I have avoided combat, so far. Maybe I am missing something, but just
trying to turn, to do dogfighting is... impossible. Is there an
auto-tracker? I've just turned tail and run the two times I have been
attacked, so far. Bleh. Not quite ready for that. But,
that's... better than dying. It'll happen... if... when... it
happens. I don't might fighting, if I can, know how.
Steak was just warmed and eaten. A coffee, eggs, and bacon
earlier. Some water through the day. I didn't check bp. I
just took medicine with dinner. So, in a few hours, when I check blood
sugar again, I'll check bp. Taking extra medicine, with it being
high. Though, to be honest, I think bacon might be the problem.
I'll finish it off, check bp until it is gone. Once it is gone, I'll
check with regular meats. If bacon is a problem, I'll... consider...
whether to just not use that, or to add extra medication when I do so.
Was a bit surprised about the apples, raising blood sugar that much.
But, goes to show. Food absolutely is what shows up on those
tests. There was a time, when on keto, I didn't use that. But I
must have been eating too many carbs. No sugars, even then. Just
veggies. But, for some people, almost any vegetables will pull right to
sugars/carbs. And slow or fats burning, it just doesn't
matter.
Doc didn't like carnivore diet. Thinks it's dangerous. I doubt if
he has actually looked into it. A lot of "professionals" just listen to
what other "professionals" say. Absolutely no curiosity. My
suggestion? Try it. Seriously. It can't kill you in a
month. Though... going of sugar and even carbs will feel like you are
dying. Just like any junky, coming off their trash. It'll
hurt. If you make it through? You'll feel like a billion dollar...
in my money. With inflation, that's like... a gazillion, or more.
Thinking clears. The body begins to wake up. Things just...
change. And I'm not even fully there yet. I'm a few days to weeks
from it. But still, things are changing. Legs are clumsy.
Not good most of the summer, got much worse this week. We'll see about
those. Neuro changes? Two stumbles back, then four steps forward?
It's the blood sugar, bp, and pulse coming down though. And weight
loss. Things are still in flux, a bit. Still trying to sort out
medication. But I just dropped seventy percent of my medication, in a
week.
Curious how much better things can get. Afraid of how much better things
can get, or can't. As mentioned, even if I get the numbers I want, just
from food? Doesn't mean I will be better. It just means I won't
get worse, or as fast? And? What if I do get better?
No pleasing some people? What would you do, nearing old age, with your health back? Hell, they won't even hire old people. No pleasing some people? Aye.
Well... on to looking about the web. Checking music, and maybe some food videos. I plan to make cranberry sauce, from whole, turkey and maybe chicken, gravy? But... what else? Maybe a keto pumpkin desert? I'd like to... do more this year. Not just because I am thankful, though I am. But... because I... think I can.
Later, or goodnight. I'll try to be up, to get the stats up. But... other than that, I am getting weary. It's been a good day, if annoying. Though... I... think things that are annoying... like games, jobs... women? Are... probably good things. Mostly. Bleh. *grins*
