Now that is sleep!

.
.
Every time I thought sleep was right after this load or this action... there was another step. As I was drifting into sleep it became more and more difficult to remember what else would need to be done before I would allow myself to surrender to it. Add to that, drying bulky items like pillows and blankets is not an exact science. Further, to try and keep these things in better condition, I would dry them on delicate using the less dry function, then finish them with a warmer setting. It was pure torture, and somehow I loved it. It must be like playing Elmer Fudd AND Bugs Bunny, all at once. The two sides of my brain, using a quarter of their usual resources, playing with each other. At least it was for a good cause and it did work.

A clean bed is a wonderful thing. I knew it was bad, for a long time, I simply couldn't do much about it. I would like to have allowed the mattress to air more than a day. The next time I am out I may air it again. I can now functionally literally move the mattress and I can remember to do so, the only question is will I remember in time to muss with the project.

They did a huge part of the lawn! I have a bit left, which is great. I was hoping to have something left to tug me out. I have less left than half of what I did, so it won't be too much. I will not be getting to it today though. Or tomorrow. I am actually planning to work on it Monday. I have pulled, pressed, pushed, and overdone for a number of days now. I will continue to do small things though. Those littler special loads of laundry will go forward. As will some cleaning in the home. Cleaning my guns. Just little things. I would also like to load another box of .45 ammunition. And perhaps find my calculus study materials. Things to do while I become more functionally disabled? Yeah, sort of. Shu-hush.

My side is absolutely murder right now, I am taking Tylenol instead of Anacin, which is not as affective at cutting the pain. Why? Because the Tylenol won't mess with my stats like the caffeine lacing that wraps the Anacin. And, I am needing a lot more frequent dosing. While I may, when I really need to do something (like shooting tomorrow) use the Anacin once in a while, I will obey the doctors for the most part since they seem to have accidentally lowered my blood pressure. But dang, that side went from painful to outrageously constant burning pain, with upticks into seriously hateful harshness. Hopefully a few days of rest will help, and continued working when I can. But my muscles are sore too. A good thing, something anyone who has worked out knows. The burn is back, as is healing and strengthening. But the combination is a bit much to simply ignore at this point and work past. My mother suggested a heating pad, then an ice pad, then maybe a towel and water and plastic or something. I stopped her at the heating pad. I will pick one of those up while in town tomorrow. For my side. I have a feeling that might help.

Wow, what a week. I only have one appointment next week, Sam goes in for the last of one series of shots and the second of three in another series. That means I have nearly a full week to do lots of things I have been meaning to do. If things hold I should be able to get to them. It is amazing how much mental clarity is the key. I can work past physical pain, if I can be clear. I can work, to a lesser degree, past a lack of energy. But I can't work through psychic morass at all. I can't remember what I AM doing, what to do next, and decision making, planning, and such disappear as soon as I finish writing or thinking about them. *ALL STOP, those getting off in Stupidville...* Or is that Boneheadsville? Whatever. ALL STOP is about right on top of it. But not this week. Maybe not next week.

Later.
