I need to get ready to go this evening. I have been doing bits of work on this computer, updates, configuration, setups, and... I have a ways to go. No luck on figuring out how to update IE, so far. I am guessing Vista has to be upgraded to a level where it can handle IE 8 or better 9 or 10. It's not there yet. One last batch was updated and so the machine will have to be restarted. It's a lot of work, and tricky, some of it.
Further, I received a reply from the faucet manufacturer. A picture was requested, and a query as to the problem. I received that yesterday, but my faucet is in parts, so I was dithering about that. Finally I decided to pull a picture from one of the sellers and send that instead, hoping he just wanted it for id purposes... numbers are easy to type incorrectly. I included the borrow picture and a very short and to the point reply to the question asked. Mostly.
As well, I received a note requesting my attention with regards to possible plans for Burning Man this year. Well... Okay. I'm busy, but... why not try. So, I checked my BMan profile, but can't get in. So... I requested help from their techs, as I believe the problem is that I used an email address that is now defunct. Though I may not have used the correct username, too. I have a lot of other potential things lining up this summer and fall, so I don't know anything. However, the arrangement is rather flexible, for BMan, as with the others. And, I think, with most needs for whatever already met, and ready to go, and finances in somewhat decent shape, all or none of it is possible. Depending how things work out on the other end. More so if I stop ordering... stuff. Heck, if none if it works out, and I have saved, perhaps I will put the hammer down on a top-notch gaming rig... to sooth the burn. :p
Well, I best get going. A shower, then a stop somewhere for a small meal, and then on the road. I have plenty of time, but you know how time goes when you know you have plenty of it. Oh, and I want to look for my dress shoes before the shower. I don't need them for tonight, but for tomorrow if I can go. Plans are dicey, with me. But being ready for them, just in case, is my best bet. I can do, on the fly, and just live with that, and do well enough, sometimes. But... yeah... Later.
