It was late.

.
.
Or, should I say, nigh unto morning, when I went to bed.  I can't remember the time, but I thought around 06:00.  That seems wrong though, as it would have been light out?  I don't know.  I will say sometime between 04:00 and 06:00.  So tired.  Got stuck in the heat of the night.  Then, the cool of the morning.  It got down to 71~72 down here.

I closed everything up and went on to bed.  There was no way I was going to wake to close things down early enough for it to matter.  Even so, it was 78, everywhere, downstairs, when I woke.  I haven't checked the temp outside.  It must be hot.  Humidity reads 42%.  Still high from the rain yesterday, and maybe more today?  I haven't looked completely.  But, from what I saw, it looks hazy.  More smoke from surrounding fires than clouds... from what I could see.

It is 14:30 as I wake.  So not an extensive sleep.  But standard to slightly extended.  My body tried to wake up at ten, and noon, but I vetoed that.  I simply wasn't ready, in my mind, to be up.  Time of sleep wasn't really a factor.  It was just a need for more sleep of mind, if not body.

There is a state holiday today.  So there was a parade out this morning.  It seemed a long one.  I only heard in my dreams, through them?  So, I can't swear to time or length, but it seemed sort of long.  All good.  If I can't be out, perhaps just enjoying from my little cubby is good enough.  I do enjoy such things, if I generally stay away... for everyone's sake.

I am doing fairly good today.  Though more sleep would be nice.  I just didn't want to sleep the whole day.  And I have things to do.  A shower, and maybe shave.  Chores.  And... who knows what else.  It's a weekend, so studies will be review rather than new material.  I am struggling to memorize the hiragana.  I do believe I want that done before going one more step.

I am told that hiragana is like simple letters, and katakana is as cursive.  If the two are generally used for different word sets.  Hiragana is mostly for Japanese words, katakana for foreign words, and kanji is more for almost phrases?  It, from what I gather, conveys more meaning, though dependent upon what else it is written with, it can mean absolutely different things.  A language based on poetry has it's faults.  All languages do, if trust of the speaker is more important yet.

Well... a bit of time to wake.  Then on to things.  Good day.

Oh... a song which has been on my mind.  I... couldn't find it, remember.  Thank you, whoever... showed me the way.  Amen.
