.
For ketosis. Just one day of very cautious eating, and my blood sugar sort of crashes. It is 90. That isn't quite a complete crash, but compared to 225ish, and probably that or higher for the last week, and with just one half a day of watching everything, with very light doses of insulin (being very careful with that), it's quite a drop and change. It is enough of a drop to make me feel ill.
I... have plans to eat, shortly. Kidneys. Like em', don't. I quite enjoy them. And, I know they are good for me. Oh, and my breath smells worse than the kidneys possibly could. I am already hitting ketosis. I can tell. Brushing my teeth is not helping, nothing is. It's... a body chemistry thing. So, yeah, already hitting ketosis. Must have been close, though, in spite of what I have been eating.
My guess is, since I have eating so little, while it keep blood sugar high, it was ready to drop into ketosis at the absolute first opportunity. Eating every other, or every third day, if carb heavy foods, made the issues paper tigers. I have the water going, to do kidneys in just a bit. An odd, very fatty, very rich in vitamins and minerals, food. You can't beat it, at least once a week, keto food. Well, a different offal per week. Plus, it means these things aren't wasted. Eat portions so as to eat the whole animal, over time. Some things I... won't eat. Then again, rocky mountain oysters, of most natures, are just fine. Ovary stew I will do without, however. There is something... too feminine about that. Let that be for the ladies, if anyone must eat it. All I'm saying.
If I could find brain, I'd eat it. Even beef, at this point, if preferably hog, lamb, or goat. Probably illegal, or through official sources. Heck, I'd take the whole head, of some animals, and bake or old-school barbecue it. I know, some people are delicate. Different foods scare them. They have warped humans to think only store-bought food is good. Which is the exact opposite of the truth, especially with everything processed, including "milk". That... isn't milk, really. If milk might be slightly sketchy, on it's own, anyway. Fat free isn't even the way to go, fat you need. It's the sugars in it, fat free or not, that will get you. Which is why kefir and yogurt are the best ways. Processed, by by nature, not man.
Anyway... I best eat pretty soon. Blood sugar is low enough to make me dizzy. I don't think it's dropping too much more or quickly, but... enough to have some concern. I'd best eat something, very soon. Ugh. Later.
