The bones with some meat on the oxtails actually roasted much more quickly than I would have thought. More so considering the volume. The smell is nigh onto divine. I lightly salted the chuck roast, adding a bit of garlic and pepper, and am letting that... work out at room temperature for an hour. It works with steaks, I thought I'd see how it does with a roast. Meat is meat?
I am not moving as quickly as I had hoped. Dishes are languishing, no shower, no socks. I might yet get to it, time will tell. Yeah. I checked the temp. It is 76 in here, which has been a comfortable temp for the longest time. Humidity is at 30%, with a 24-hour high of 31 and a low of 27. Hmm, this room, though, is 81? Yeah, maybe it was just hotter outside, or hot days have added up? Blood sugar is 217, so nothing special.
It just seems warm, here, the other room, doesn't matter. I'm still thinking it was pasta. What is good though? Even though it was tasty? I really didn't have a great lust for it, as I once did. Any pasta, though this dish in particular, would really draw me in. I was easily able to have a simple measure portion and it was enough. So, something good is happening, I suspect.
I believe I'll hit the dishes again. I have done some of it, just not all of it. I just... don't want to do it, to be honest. And, yet, I believe I will push through to as much of it as I can. Heating up quickly while working doesn't help. Later, or good night.
