Moving right along.

.
.
I honestly thought just sorting was going to take the whole day.  It wasn't as bad as I thought, once I put to it.  Oh, no mistakes, the work ate my morning.  And it isn't done.  I'll be dusting and sorting when I decide where to put the stuff, eventually.  I cleared all surfaces, save the television stuff.  Hmm, doubt if my mother will ever be out here again, so I can probably just take the cable box back.  It's only $5 a month, or so they say, never have looked to see if there are additional taxes, fees, and all else.  In any case, one of these next times I am in town I will return it.  But, for now, the bluray and game console will stay.  When I finish cleaning in there, I will probably try to work out how to put in wall-mounted shelves to keep what is staying off the floor, and easier to dust.  I only need one shelf, but two would be nice... just in case.  At eye level, it might even get dusted from time to time.

I have moved everything but the television related shelf out of the room, that can be moved.  I could figure out how to get the couch and loveseat out, but I think I'll skip it.  Strength and coordination aren't the problems, it is more that I have nowhere to put them, certainly not for the several days it will take to dry  Pus, I don't actually have to lose the room completely if I keep them there, just move them out far enough from the walls that I can vacuum and steam clean behind them, then when I put them back just have a small strip where they had been setting to finish.  Hmm...  I would vacuum, but I might be tinkering with the entertainment shelving, lifting some, removing the rest.  I'll take a look, see if I can just get brackets, and go that way... buying anything on need while in town for the hike.  No other shopping today, so might as well.  I might have to drill some holes in the shelving frames, if they can be extricated otherwise, but that's not a problem.  Even if they technically aren't separable, I do have a saws-all.  Might as well get it right while I am at it.

I had fewer work sessions, but they were longer.  All good, as long as I am really hitting it.  I really have no idea how long everything will take.  And I want to take down the last of the Christmas lights, and lift weights yet this evening.  It is going well enough, time will just take care of itself.  I still don't feel like working, definitely not hiking, but that's just the way it goes.  I'm going.  Just going to get my pack and pants on, a hat just in case that sneaky bastard of a sun comes out, a rain coat if the weather does what it looks to be getting ready to do... oh, and I'll look at the shelving, and check the studs in several places, then take off.  Later.
