Early enough to get to the bank. Well, atm thereof. Money. Always have to have a bit of money. Plus, I was hoping to get cash for dairy. I just... wasn't sure it would happen, or that I could make it, tonight. I did.
While out, I stopped at the store. Bought food. When I go for visits, I like to bring food... especially when I haven't eaten in days, literally. Fried chicken. Oh, the breading... not much to do about that. And, a donuts. To share around, though, too. Plus, I was out of lots of things, even carbonated water. I am avoiding plastics now, but aluminum will do. Burger, and the yogurt I liked.
I had some while there. Not much, but it's difficult to eat when it's been a while? Yeah. Still, I did have a few pieces of chicken and a donut... two? I don't even mind. Won't be a regular thing. And... four... five... even six days since I ate? Four for almost sure? Yea... I don't mind.
When I got home, I made more burger soup. But it's just not... I... am full? Just not that hungry. Tried some yogurt. That... only tastes good if I haven't eaten in a while. I... couldn't eat any more. Am drinking La Croix coconut flavored carbonated waters though. Made coffee, but even that is too heavy after my "feast". I did have to laugh. A chicken drumstick, thigh, and tender, and two donuts? And I am absolutely stuffed! So stuffed I can't handle even taking in a fatted coffee? Oh, seriously. I... remember eating half a turkey, plus sides. And, when I was growing... betting my mother.
She... didn't believe I was "still hungry". So, she said she would cook me all the chicken I could eat, but I had to have potatoes and a side of veggies, plus a glass of milk, per meal. I ate... five or nearly six chickens... with the sides and milk... and desert... not desert with every plate, probably just the last two. Pie, apple? She... never doubted me after that. But, I was already six foot, in... 5th grade? 6th? And only, I think, 120 pounds. Skinny... twiggy, I think they called me... for... a number of reasons. Hungry, though. Always. Voracious. I could rarely ever get enough to eat. I never felt full... save that and a very few other times.
So... yes... a few tidbits, and stuffed? I do laugh. I really wanted to eat more, for the fasting. But that's... not how it works. Which is why I am doing it that way. And, it... mostly... is working. Losing fifty pounds, roughly, in two... even four months if it was that long? Is... fast... and a lot... I almost don't care who or how much you weigh. That's a lot of fat. I had already lost the water, being on keto. That's... all fat.
So... I don't know. On to bed? Soon. Tonight's meeting through things off a bit. But, when given opportunities... And able... I do. Ask... and you shall receive, innit? Aye. What God gives, in time, He may well ask. Care, love, food, life. And, at this point, to my ability, I do my best. Give, bear, witness. If there is a cost, it is worth the price. Amen.
Anyway... so... just can't quite get to bed. Hungry, in some odd way. But food, even coffee, is too much. Trying to figure something out. Yogurt just doesn't taste good, right now. Ugh. I have pickled pork hocks on the way. One of those would be mighty tasty? Or would it too just be too much. I sure have a hankering for those. These are all meat (well, and fat). No carbs. Just... vinegared hocks. It... sort of cooks them? I don't know if they are otherwise cooked first, or if they are just pickled to doneness? After I finish these, in a few months, I'll order the pickled turkey gizzards.
Oh, sure, I say the Chinese eat pretty much everything. And, if it is edible, and then some, they do. Not a gripe, mind you. Just... a truth. I think they have lived long enough to have absolutely no qualms about... what's for dinner. And, by American standards, I push things. But, still... these are excellent. Plus, very good carnivore snacks, if you can handle them. Vinegar is good for the digestion. Organs and meat are great for the body. Besides, being a double breed, I'm probably nearly as related to the Chinese as I am to Europeans. A pox on both their houses... This time? For no good reason? :p
A bit of gaming, I guess. Later.
