.
Only awake because I REALLY wanted custard. And... it has taken me a
long time to... get to the pot and form, get those washed. Then redo a
batch. And... finally... get it going. But, those things were
done. And, then, when I could, the batch was mixed. And, finally,
it was put together, and put in.
The beeper just went off. And, boy was she right. Longer, in a
bigger custard form. It's been thirty five. The smaller ones were
done at about forty five. This... is still liquid! It'll be a
while. Ah! But I did forget something. I set it for
350. Last time I set it for 375? Give or take, but goodly
warmer. Something to do with the elevation. How, for me, things
work better, is if I turn the heat up some... bit.
As such, I just turned the stove higher. And am giving it twenty five
minutes to... well... can hope. Even if it is mostly done then, I still
need fifteen to thirty minutes for it to cool to some reasonable temp before
eating. But... it'll get there. I'm, at this point, in no terrible
hurry. I know it will be done... soon enough.
Funny how, when off carbs, there is almost no rush to eat. As long as I
know dinner is coming, or breakfast, or whatever? I... can easily wait
longer. Oh, some impatience. But that is... a time, not stomach,
or salivation thing. It just doesn't really matter, as long as it gets
done... eventually. And it will. Even if I burned some of this, my
guess is there would still be something, in there, to eat. Not happy to
lose the majority of it. But... I... will get some portion of it to eat,
today.
I keep having a few pork hocks, to carry me over. Expensive.
But... as mentioned it and custard is all I have enjoyed eating in...
months! Ugh. The rest has been a struggle. So I will
enjoy. And, the hocks are definitely keto and I would count them as
carnivore. Vinegar being the only definite out, but not something I
wouldn't use in a carnivore diet, do... use. So, for my purposes, it is
carnivore.
Back to gaming, for a bit.
Oh... but... yeah?
This keeps popping. Both from my blog and in other places.
Okay. I remember, doctors never were allowed to believe they brought me
back. It always happened while they were taking a break, or a goodly bit
after they had quit trying. Once, for certain, an half hour after they
quit all efforts. Just waiting to sign the papers. To make sure
they knew better than to put in a claim, for their profession, or
personally. No worries, that I died at all was my humbling moment, and
more humbling by far. What thinskinned twits.
This one, out of a bunch, caught my attention. I do... miss her.
And this one? Yes. From a different woman.
Obviously, I... can't do as she has asked. But I... always wanted to.
