BP is 119/80 with a pulse of 72. Better. Still feeling like I'm being sucked down a whirlpool, or being compressed in a wind tunnel, or... some such. Better. But... still not comfortable. I halved the main medication, again. And, took only half of one of the medicines I could split, since I was taking two of those. As well, continue to have stopped the amlodipine. Oh, and only took one waterpill this morning, instead of two.
Walking a bit easier, but not fully adjusted yet. I've had a water, this morning, but plan to add electrolytes, and regular salt, to my next bottle of water. A teaspoon of salt, along with standard electrolytes. Hoping that will help with feet and vision. Not... long term. Though I will add more salt to my diet. It's just that, currently, I can't eat enough to make adding salt mean much.
Still, better. All around. Not perfect. Not even close to normal. Just... better than what it has been. On a scale of one to ten, I am hitting... four? Ten being the best? About in there. But up from one or two! Addictions are brutal. This is far worse than when I went through giving up tobacco. Alcohol wasn't difficult to give up at all, I simply wasn't addicted. But this? This is absolutely brutal. Carbs are really bad. It isn't even sugar, because there was no fast carbs in what I have been consuming for months. It was only a carb-like substance. That is how addictive that stuff is.
The sweats, just now. I'm still going through rather severe withdrawals. From time to time, worse. Getting better. Another week? Few days? I'll... find out. Still, crazy how severe the bp and pulse change. Though, crazy that I have quartered the main medicine, dropped one of the five medicines, halved two of the others, and am still... a bit low? Yeah. Absolutely insane. A bit terrifying. But... it offers hope, too.
Still, the skin on my right side, arm and leg, feels numb. It's been that way since I initially went on what I thought was a carnivore diet, several months ago. Before even dropping the "keto" sweetener. But now, it is more pronounced, and more often. Just... numb skin. And fingertips. Not sure why, what the mechanism is. Am I losing weight? Sleeping differently? I don't know. More and more numb. No a stroke, it's just skin level, or just below. Function remains. Other than what has happened recently, but that is balance, and vision problems. Ugh.
Wow. I have to tell you, I am amazed. Ah, but one thing? I may go back to Redman's salt. I don't favor it. It is gritty. But... it is a salt that can be trusted. Sea salts? Not so trustworthy. Microplastics and general pollution are making those highly suspect. Is there any real way out? Even the buried salts are showing signs of some contamination, which is either introduced, or has been a natural part of the process since the beginning of time? I don't know. No one knows, for certain. But... it is less. So, yes, back to Redman's. So be it.
Hmm, on to salted and electrolyted water. Food? Not for a while. Nausea remains. A steak, I think, later. Not eating but once a day, these days. Can't. Bleh. Can barely take down what I am eating. Food doesn't even sound good. But... so be it. I'll eat my meal a day, drink what I can, have some coffee on the side, and... do what I can.
Loving the suck? Absolutely. Especially because I am certain I WILL get to the other side. And it will b better on the other side. In every imaginable way. I think I have finally found a way back out of the grave. If... I have to crawl through a bit of hell to get to it. What is it they say? Ah... If you find yourself in hell? KEEP GOING! Amen.
