.
Not perfect. Perfection is a whole other can of worms, of course.
Better. Not good, but enough better that I'm not worried. I really
thought I might end up going down, even dying. It sure felt like
it. Now... not so much. But, I am still suffering. But
it feels more like I am suffering in recovery, rather than suffering a
collapse, trying to live, fighting to stay conscious.
I will take afternoon medicine, shortly. But, as mentioned, I will
decrease the dose. The strongest medicine I take is... dangerous.
Too much can lead to... dark moments. And, with being on a true
carnivore diet, with pretty much zero carbs? Yeah. The combination
is extremely potent. I should have been checking bp, but... between the
cold, the change in diet, and some other things, I... just... wasn't doing
what I should have been doing.
I did look up the idea of carnivore lowering blood pressure. Found an
actual doctor, who is in my small portfolio of gurus. And, yes. It
will do that. Now, of course, he suggests I speak with my doctor
first. But My doctor is difficult to get in touch with, especially in my
condition. And, no... I won't take the same dose that has been crashing
my body. NO! I won't wait for permission to save myself.
So, while I will take afternoon medication, I will cut that by half.
After cutting the one pill (already taken, it's a morning pill) and cutting
the other medicine by half, I'll see how things go. Check twice a
day. Oh, and checking bp and blood sugar should be done a little later
in the morning for optimal reading. Especially since I don't eat right
away. At least an hour after being awake.
As well, I checked on blood sugar issues, while on low-carb/carnivore.
There are reasons for it to rise. From stress, to infection, to simply
morning bias. Testing a bit later in the morning will help to a
degree. As to today? I think that was stress. I was fighting
to not pass out, a sort of fight or flight response occurred. I was...
rather stressed by what was happening. So... hopefully, that was all of
it.
Ugh. It has come down a bit, to
183. So there is that. Very difficult day. But getting
better. If I can, I'll get a few chops on the grill. Feed Sassy
again. Check her litter box. And... keep trying to get through the
day. Later.
